A 2021 Day-Date 36 in 18k white gold with a natural grey-blue stone dial and the fluted bezel on a President bracelet. Stone-dial Day-Dates are produced in small numbers and each dial is geologically unique, so condition and pattern quality drive value more than reference alone. The veining on this example is unusually well defined and evenly distributed across the dial face. Complete with box and card.

Case: excellent 18k white gold with factory finishing intact; no evidence of polishing.

Bezel: fluted white gold bezel with sharp flute definition and no edge wear.

Crystal: original sapphire with Cyclops, unmarked.

Dial: natural stone dial in excellent condition with no chips, hairlines, or filled voids — inspected closely because stone dials are inherently fragile and damage is irreparable. Veining well defined and evenly distributed.

Bracelet: President bracelet with minimal stretch, all links original, concealed clasp crisp.

Movement: calibre 3255 running +1 second per day, day and date change instantaneously at midnight.

Authentication

18k white gold hallmarks verified on case, bezel, and bracelet. Caseback opened and calibre 3255 confirmed with Chronergy escapement and matching case/movement numbers. Card cross-referenced with serial. Stone dial examined at 40x and under raking light to confirm it is genuine natural stone rather than a printed or composite imitation — mineral structure, depth, and edge treatment all consistent with factory production. Applied index seating into the stone verified.

Pricing rationale

Retail for a white gold stone-dial Day-Date configuration is approximately HK$428,000, though specific stone dials are allocation-dependent and not freely orderable. Completed sales for full-set examples in Excellent condition ran HK$440,000–HK$495,000 over ninety days, with dial pattern quality accounting for most of the spread. We are priced at HK$465,000, mid-band, supported by unusually well-defined veining and an unpolished case. We will note honestly that stone dials are fragile: a knock that would scratch a metal dial can crack stone, and replacement is not practical.
